Campaign Story

Every year Sydney Fox and Dingo Rescue rescue, care for, and rehome dozens of dingoes in need- both ex pets and wild dingoes. We are one of the only organizations to assist wild-born dingoes and orphan dingo pups. Dingoes face many challenges in the wild in Australia including poison baits, hunting, and trapping as well as habitat destruction and motor-car accidents. This means that during wild dingo breeding season (June, July, August), many dingo pups will sadly be orphaned and in need of help. Because dingo ownership is illegal in many states, Sydney Fox and Dingo Rescue are often asked by councils, the RSPCA, WIRES, and other organizations to take dingoes from interstate, right across Australia.
